For iPhone and iPad

  • At the start, launch the Mail app on your device.
  • Then, hit the icon of Write Mail from the bottom-right edge of your screen.
  • Now, type a name.
  • Search the old contact once the suggested email listing appears.
  • Next, tap the info icon located just after the name.
  • Press the option “Remove from Recents.”

For PC or Mac

  • First of all, browse the iCloud site using the desired web browser.
  • Then, type the sign-in credentials.
  • Now, hit the Mail application there.
  • Choose the Compose tab from the uppermost right side edge.
  • Enter the Email ID or contact name that you like to remove.
  • Hover the mouse over contacts and then hit the red Remove tab.
  • Verify your action by tapping the option “Remove from Recents.”

Procedure to Remove all Contacts from Recents in Mail App on Mac

  • First of all, open the Safari web browser.

  • Choose the option “Show JavaScript Console.”

  • After that, press the Email ID.
