In case you are
wondering what two-factor authentication is, it is like an additional layer of
security for your accounts. With two-factor authentication, whenever you sign
in to your account using a new phone, a one time password will be shared with
your number. Anyone who wants to sign in to that account will have to put that
code on the site or app for the verification process. However, we skip this
crucial security layer from many applications we use daily, despite knowing the
emerging threats. Here are 5 popular online platforms that should have
two-factor authentication enabled.
Google
1- Go to Google’s two-factor authentication page via your web or
mobile browser and sign in to your Google Account.
2- Tap the ‘Get Started’ blue button to begin the process and
you may need to sign in again.
3- Set your Country from the menu and fill in your phone number.
4- Choose between message notification and phone call
notification and click next.
5- You will receive a code through the mode you selected. Enter
the code in the blank field and tap ‘Next’

authentication for Google Accounts.
