AirDrop lets you get anything wirelessly from the iPad, Mac, or iPhone or any Apple device. Adjust the Airdrop

If you are using AirDrop from the iPod touch, iPad, iPhone to the Mac but Mac is not visible then try this:
  1. Go to Finder on the Mac.
  2. Tap on AirDrop in the sidebar.
You can also switch between Contacts, Everyone or No One from the option. It will set the Mac in the AirDrop state, which will help in detection.
Switch Radios
If switching Airdrop doesn’t work, then you can go to radios. If you wish to switch radios, then pursue the given instructions:
On iPad or iPhone:
  1. Open Settings from the Home screen.
  2. Click on the Wi-Fi option.
  3. Then switch it Off and then again On.
  4. Press the Bluetooth option.
  5. Switch it Off and then On again.
On Mac:
  1. Go to System Preferences from Dock.
  2. Select the Network option.
  3. Tap on the Turn Wi-Fi Off option, then On Wi-Fi again.
  4. Choose the Bluetooth option.
  5. Hit the Turn Bluetooth Off option, then switch it on again.
  6. Otherwise, you can switch On the Airplane Mode and then turn it off again to change all the radios together. When the process is complete, try to connect again.
Hard Reset
Another option is to try to hard reset. Create reboot windows as the main reason for any errors.
For iPad and other older iPhones:
  1. Click and hold the Off/On option on the right or top of the phone.
  2. When holding the Off/On option, click and press the Home button on the front of the iPod touch, iPhone, or iPad.
  3. Hold both buttons together until the screen switch Off, and hold them until screen switch On again, and shows the Apple logo.
For iPhone 7:
  1. Click and hold the Off/On option on the right.
  2. When holding the Off/On option, click and hold volume down choice at the left of the device.
  3. Hold both buttons together until the screen switch Off, and hold them until screen switch On again, and shows the Apple logo.
For iPhone X, iPhone XS Max, iPad Pro, iPhone 8, and iPhone XS:
  1. Tap and release the Volume Up option.
  2. Tap and release the Volume Down option.
  3. Click and hold a wake/sleep option.
  4. Hold down the Side option, yet after the screen Shuts Down displays.
On Mac:
  1. Tap on  a tab to the left of the menu.
  2. Hit the Restart option.
When you have rebooted it, then users can attempt to connect again.
Update
Apple’s Bluetooth stack is the collection of software that manages the phone’s radio. New versions of the iOS sometimes show compatibility issues, and other times, they fix it. If you are facing trouble in connecting Bluetooth, then you must update it. If it’s broken update is the better to opt to fix.
Follow the provided instructions to use Update:
  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Click on General.
  3. Select the Software Update option.
  4. Press the install option if there any update available.
When the update is completed, try to use the AirDrop.
Reset Networks
In case you need to reset networks, then you need to follow the offered steps:
  1. Go to the Settings.
  2. Click on General.
  3. Select the Reset option underneath.
  4. Choose the Reset Network Settings option.
  5. Insert the Passcode, if needed.
  6. Hit the Reset Network Settings option to confirm.
When the procedure completes, you have to connect to every Wi-Fi again and with Bluetooth device that you use. Once everything is done, then connect AirDrop again.
