The upcoming Beta version of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War offers various types of new modes for playing, alongside different new maps, and updates from its alpha that are of higher quality.
The Call of Duty: Black Ops
Cold War has recently started offering its open Beta version and the very first
two days were for the members who have pre-ordered the Black Ops Cold War on
the PlayStation Plus. Regardless of the pre-orders, the beta version of the
Black Ops Cold War is open for all PlayStation users, in the following two
days. And from October 15onwards, the cross-platform beta version would begin
for those who have ordered the Black Ops Cold War on Xbox or on the PC. The PS4
players, for the entire second weekend, will be able to play it for free.
In the paragraphs mentioned
below, we have discussed the changes that are made from the alpha version of
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, into the beta version.
The first thing that, you
would see, will be a new map with the name “Cartel” that has been added into
the mix in the beta. Players can play it in two different modes. It is
available for playing in both multiplayer mode as well as combined arms mode.
This newly added map is located at a place in Nicaragua. The map is said to
have some sort of ties with Perseus, who is the main villain of the Black Ops
Cold War.
The map features a rideable
motorcycle, alongside an airplane hanger that is relatively larger in size, and
the varying levels of different terrain areas. The map, alongside the features
as mentioned above, also has a prominent recon tower wherein the players can
hold down their center objectives.
There are several other
changes that include the introduction of the ping system in the game, a new
repetitive self-stimulatory tactical action, and also the sentry turret
scorestreak. A blueprint for the Milano 851 submachine gun gets unlocked, once
you reach to the level 10 of the multiplayer beta version. In the second
weekend, a brand-new Fire Team Dirty Bomb mode will get featured. In this
large-scale mode, up to four teams of 10 individuals can be featured. These
teams are assigned the task of planting uranium in the designated locations
throughout the map. The uranium can explode on impact, as it is a hazardous
material to be held over for a very long duration.
