  2. Locate the ‘Privacy’ tab and click on the same.
  3. Select ‘Analytics & Improvements’ under the Privacy tab.
  4. Click on the ‘Analytics Data’ option in the next window.
  5. A list of files will appear in alphabetical order. Locate the ‘Log Aggregated’ file and open the same.
  6. Scroll down to the bottom of the screen to open the last log-aggregated file to view recent data.
  7. Select the complete date present on the next page by long-pressing the same. Select ‘Copy’ from the pop-up menu.
  8. Next, go to the ‘Notes’ app on your iPhone.
  9. Long-press on a new note, and select ‘Paste’ from the menu that appears on the screen.
  10. Once you’ve pasted the data in a new note, click on the ‘Share’ icon.
  11. Select ‘Find in Note’ from the menu.
  12. Enter ‘batterycyclecount’ in the search bar present on the top of the keypad.
  13. Look for the number present below the highlighted text on your screen. That number is your battery’s cycle count.

Though checking the battery’s cycle count involves a lot of steps, it makes you aware of the battery health.

Also, it is important to note that the log data might not appear on your iPhone. The reason behind the same is that your ‘Data Analytics’ feature might be disabled. Enable the same, and the log data will appear.

Battery’s cycle count also helps in troubleshooting battery issues. Thus, it is a convenient method to decide if you need to replace your device or not.
